I am pleased that the focus of this exhibit, B/W Sculpting with Light, is on monochrome images.
In the absence of color; an image’s composition, texture and subject matter become more pronounced. These attributes combined with light can shape or sculpt an image so that it appears more three-dimensional than one in color.
My image, Peony, is inspired by that challenge.
The work of Ansel Adams and Sebastiao Salgado motivate me.
