Lava Rocks Sculpted by the Sea - Arnestapi, Sneafellsnes, Iceland
It's more than a year since I traveled to Iceland on a photography tour in October of 2019.
Iceland is beautiful, wild and challenging. I had planned this trip for the Fall in the hope that the weather would be mild and also because this particular 10-day period is the best time to see the Aurora Borealis. However, after one sunny, lovely day, Iceland's unpredictable weather gave us sometimes violent winds, rain, sleet and hale for the remaining nine days of the trip.
